But each Easter I celebrate is a testament not only of God's eternal faithfulness to me, but also the temporal, day by day, moment by moment faithfulness. I've walked through most of my life with Death's hand on my shoulder, demanding my attention. I've told him to go away. I've tried to run from him. I've begged God to make Death leave me alone.
